Walking on the beach, hands twined together, dragging a stick along behind us making a trail in the sand and chasing the seagulls without a care in the world. Just each other, and the things we have to talk about, the blue sky and him stopping with me to pick up shells. His kisses, randomly when the beach crowd thins, and just… the feeling of burden-less togetherness. Natural company. Him shying away from the water as it rushes to the beach and me embracing the waves like old friends against my feet. Feeling the gentle chill against my ankles and watching him follow me with his eyes, sometimes with me stepping in the water and him on sand, yet our hands still holding each other. The wind whipping at our hair and clothing as we touch, soul and body. The shared feeling draped between us like spider webs that bend shimmer as we move, but unbreaking.
